How to use the AI assistant to query your estate data, take actions, and create records.

Ask Karyasthan

Ask Karyasthan is an AI assistant that can answer questions about your own estate: rent status, open repairs, who has access, and more. It only sees the data you already have access to.

Asking a question

Type a question in the chat composer and press Enter or click Send. The assistant searches your estate data and responds in plain language. Questions you can try:

"Is any rent pending?"
"What repairs are open?"
"Which properties do we have?"
"Who can access my shop?"

Answers may include source chips that show which property the information came from. Click a chip to navigate to that property.

Messages are limited to 1000 characters per question.

Conversation history

Past chats are saved and shown in the left rail under History. Click any conversation to reload it. Start a fresh thread with New chat. You can delete individual conversations from the rail.

Memory

The Memory button in the toolbar (bookmark icon) stores short preferences about how you like answers, for example "Give me amounts in lakhs" or "Keep answers brief." These apply across all your conversations.

Add a preference by typing it in the Memory panel and pressing Enter, or tell the assistant "remember that…" in chat and it will save the preference automatically.

Action cards

The assistant can propose actions that need your confirmation before anything changes:

Raising a maintenance request proposes a repair for a named property. Review the details, then click Confirm or Cancel.
Sending a rent reminder drafts a message to a tenant. You can review the draft before you confirm.

Clicking Confirm carries out the action immediately. Clicking Cancel discards it, and nothing changes.

Live form panel

For create-type requests, such as "add a new property", "add a tenant to the High Street flat", or "record a payment", the assistant opens a form panel alongside the chat. You can chat to fill fields conversationally, or type directly into any form field. When all required fields are filled, click the form's submit button to save.

tip: Every answer is scoped to your account. The assistant cannot see another family's data. Every action is permission-checked before it runs.
