People and access
People & access shows everyone who can see or manage your properties, what role they have, and which properties they can access.
Roles
| Role | What they can do |
|---|---|
| Owner | Full control. Manages properties, rent, documents, and people. |
| Manager | Runs day-to-day tasks. Records rent, logs repairs, sends reminders. |
| Viewer | Read-only. Can see rent and proof photos, cannot make changes or invite anyone. |
Access is set per property: a person can be a Manager on one property and a Viewer on another.
Adding a person
Only Owners can add new users.
- Go to People & access and click Add a person.
- Enter their full name and email address.
- Set a password of at least 8 characters. Use Generate a password for a readable strong suggestion.
- Select the properties they should be able to access (select one or more).
- Pick their role.
- Click Add person. Their login credentials, email and password, are shown once. Use Copy login details and share them with the new user before closing the drawer.
tip: Login credentials are shown only once after creation. If you lose them, the user can reset their password, but you cannot retrieve the original from the app.
Role summary on the page
Below the page heading, three role pills describe each level at a glance: Owner manages everything and people; Manager runs day-to-day rent and repairs; Viewer can see but not change.
