Dashboard

The Dashboard shows this month at a glance:

• The Rent hero shows total collected versus expected rent in ₹, the outstanding amount, and a colour-coded progress bar (green for paid, amber for due soon, red for overdue) with a count for each segment. If any tenant carries an unpaid opening balance, an Arrears figure sits alongside the segments, separate from this month's Outstanding.
• The Properties list shows each property with its occupancy status and this month's rent position. Click any property to open its detail page.
• Activity is a shared timeline of recent events, including payments recorded, repairs logged, documents uploaded, and access changes. Everyone with access sees the same events in the same order.
• Needs you lists overdue rents and open maintenance items that need attention. Click Mark paid directly from this panel to record a payment without leaving the dashboard.

Both the Dashboard and Reports show Arrears as its own figure: the total unpaid opening balance across your estate, including tenancies that have since ended. It never mixes with the this-month (or selected-period) rent totals, so Collected and Outstanding always reconcile to rent alone.

Reports

Reports shows your estate's performance over a chosen time window. Switch between 3 months, 6 months, and 12 months using the buttons in the top-right corner.

Headline stats

At the top, for the selected period: total Collected, Outstanding, Arrears (unpaid opening balances across the estate, shown only when there are any), overall Occupancy %, number of properties, and number of tenants.

Collection over time

A grouped bar chart comparing monthly collected rent against expected rent. Hover any bar for exact figures and the outstanding amount for that month.

Income by property

Horizontal bars showing collected and outstanding rent per property, ordered highest-collected first.

Outstanding aging

A segmented bar and breakdown table that bucket overdue balances into Current (not yet due), 1-30 days, 31-60 days, and 60+ days late. Use this to prioritise follow-ups.

Occupancy

A donut chart of overall occupancy (units rented out of total) plus per-property progress bars showing rented vs vacant units.

Maintenance

Count tiles for Open, In progress, and Done maintenance requests, plus a property-by-property list of how many open requests each has.
